Francisco Oller (1833–1917) was a Puerto Rican visual artist. He is the only Latin American to have played a role in the development of Impressionism, and revolutionized the school of painting in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico was his main source of inspiration where he pained landscapes, still lifes, and portraits that illustrated a realistic image of his native home.
