Stephen Powers: Coney Island Is Still Dreamland (To a Seagull)
If you’re a suckers for hand type go check out this exhibit at the Brooklyn museum like yesterday! Up until March 2016, Coney Island Is Still a Dreamland is an installation is part of a large Coney Island exhibition where the entire space is filled up with work by Icy Signs. The instillation features signage painted inspired by Coney Island and reemergence of new public art there. You can also learn all about the history of Coney Island and see some really awesome artifacts.
